Horror is my favorite genre, though they mess with my dreams lol. If you ask me to the movies, and ask me which movie I want to see I will chose the scary one. The only way I'll chose something else is if I've already seen the scary one lol. I also enjoy comedies, and some "kid" movies. I'm none too fond of "chick flicks". They just don't keep my attention. I will watch dramatic comedies though.
