I have been married for 14 wonderful years and have 2 really great children...I am very blessed.

Our family also includes 2 dogs (Ginger and Mojo), 1 cat (Leo) and 2 aquariums full of African cichlids. I am a musician and I love nature. I've been dabbling in arts and crafts since I was a child. Doing some arts shows here and there but mainly for my own amusement and as gifts! I have done too many types of arts and crafts to mention. At this time in my life, I am enjoying sewing, crocheting, amigurumi, mosaics,softies, and making bookmarks. I am super busy right now so I tend to like small projects for that 'instant gratification' feel of it.

I collect snow globes and love anything related to Christmas...santas, snowmen, Nativity scenes, nutcrackers, paper houses like Putz to display, etc.

As for flowers...tulips are my favorite flower followed by ballerina roses and fairy roses,

I love bookmarks with quotes about reading and books and art, movie quotes too

I collect mushrooms and owls,

I love hand knit or crocheted socks/slippers ...my feet are ALWAYS cold,

I love handmade bookmarks that aren't too thick to actually use,

I adore handmade aprons and tote bags

I love handmade cupcake toppers,

polka dotted anything,

I adore Republic of Tea Ginger Peach decaf!

My favorites are the rustic,deep,muted colors of Tuscany, of nature and of foods....but it is hard not to love the colors of: oranges, granny smith apples, limes, ripe pears, tomatoes, mangoes, eggplant, avocado, red grapes.

no thank you to Pastels as they wash me out. I'm a red head with fair complexion.

I wear a small. (My hips are 35" if that helps) I prefer half aprons. That is b/c Full aprons, unless fitted, tend to overwhelm my frame.

I like: Robert Kaufman, Alexander Henry, Amy Butler, Heather Bailey, Michael Miller, japanese import fabrics, Here are other fabric themes I like: owls, hedgehogs, toadstools, mushrooms, "pin up girls' Garden gnomes by 'Heather Ross Blue', retro fabrics,
50's sock hop/diner's type fabrics, dick and jane, polka dots, strawberries, lemons, cherries, vintage kitchen or retro kitchen,
big 'in your face' type prints, kitschy, the great outdoor pin up girls, paisley in bright colors,

as for animals, I love them all but really like the odd ones with little squat bodies: owls, hedgehogs, penguins, puffins, ducks, hedgehogs, platypus,
echidna, wombats, koala bears, xenarthran, some more... norwhals, manatees, beluga whales, penguins, turtles, snails, tortoises, sea turtles, praying mantis, ladybugs, frogs, toads...

Really...this list could get WAY TOO LONG.

as items go: please NO stickers, anything too foo-foo, most candy unless noted, I simply don't eat it, 'filler' stuff or junk you got and didn't like so you sent it on, postcards, perfume b/c I'm super picky, makeup in general, filigree crochet (too foo-foo for me)

I wish for a pretty package that isn't just dumped together. Something someone took time to put together, it doesn't have to cost much. Simple is good. Lurk around my blog for other ideas........:-)
