Description:

All those teabag swaps got you and your stash of looseleaf tea down? You know that looseleaf tea is the best tea, and somehow you ended up with approximately 87 tins and bags full of it, and now you can't even swap it off because none of the tea swaps want your non-factory-sealed tea! Well, now you can in this looseleaf tea swap!

You will be sending 5 (five) different looseleaf teas to 1 (one) partners.

YOU WILL NEED

5 different types of looseleaf tea. 5 ziplock bags (preferably the little ones so the tea arrives in good condition).

Put enough tea in each ziplock bag for at least one cup of tea (that means at least two teaspoons of tea), more if you'd like. Label them, tape them up so the tea arrives in decent condition, put them in an envelope and away they go!

Please do not send TEABAGS unless they're as an extra. A teabag is not looseleaf tea.

While this is a sender's choice type of swap it would be a shame to send your partner 5 different green teas and find out they hate green tea so take a look anyway, thoughtful choices are what earn hearts. But if you are really picky on the teas you drink this might not be the swap for you.

International swappers welcome.

I will be manually vetting and reserve the right to evict people as liberally as I feel necessary. If necessary I will angel once appropriate ratings have been given, and only if.

If you are a newbie: reasonably detailed filled out profile. For example, look at mine. If you have any 1s or 3s: No ones within the last year, explanation given and dealt with as best as possible; threes with explanation in reviews. If you're concerned, just send me a message.

This sounds very expensive in postage......plus you got 1 partner, and you tell us 2 partners in your message. I know for fact the postage will be quite high if it goes INT. overseas.

WestMichiganGuy, as far as I've noticed, I'm so sorry it's not US only but I'M not American and therefore, I'm not making a US only swap, I could only make a Canada-only swap. You may make one with the same rules if you'd like, but please don't sulk at me for not making one because I can't.

However, five teabags (full of loose tea or not loose tea) fit in a letter sized envelope. Lettermail here is under 50 grams and under 2 centimeters high. That means for me, the package will cost 1.85 to send out internationally. Or 2.85 if it's over 30 grams and under 50. That's not expensive.

For me, under 2 dollars is cheap. Unlike packages which cost upwards of 10-20 bucks to send out internationally, which is what us non-US swappers deal with every time we swap.

I made it 1 partner. My own derp there.

2 thumbs up Metius!!!!! I'm in - interesting comment on postage costs. I sent out Christmas Cards for a 2 swaps and spent $29 - that just the way it is. Cheers

PS - any tea is fine. If I dont like it someone at work will.
