We will be altering one restaurant receipt. Step one: eat at a restaurant!! Yum. Step two: save the receipt. Step three: create art, using this receipt. Check this out (bitrebels.com) and This site for some creative ideas... But you dont have to copy those... You may use your receipt as the art (attached to something sturdier) or you may create an ATC, a post card, a 5x7 or 8x10 piece of art. Use your creativity!!! However,as with an altered text page, we need to be able to see that it IS receipt, and read at least bits of it. And please send on time. One yummy meal for you, one piece of art for your partner, got it? Must be an established swapper, with a 5.0 rating. If you have an explained one or three please PM me BEFORE signing up to discuss. If you sign up first, you will be dropped. Please don't be offended by my caution. You do not need to wait until partners are assigned to procure your receipt or begin your receipt altering!! I hope i won't need to angel this swap. If flaking occurs, i may be able to over time, and will try to arrange angels for any i can't. But let's think positively!

What a cool idea! I would love to do this, but unfortunately, I don't know of any restaurants that give customers those kind of receipts

Whatever kind of receipt they give you will work. Every restaurant here in VA gives a receipt of some kind. :-)

I bet you can print one (a fake) receipt from the internet.

Yes! Although then you miss the eating out part. :-) it's fine as far as the swap goes, though.
