Description:

Mail Pals turns 1 year old February 1st and to celebrate, this is going to be a "choose your own adventure" swap. The options listed below are all swaps that were fairly popular. You will pick ONE swap option and make that swap again for your partner. Original swaps are linked for inspiration, but some requirements may be modified to fit this swap -- please keep to the requirements as listed below.

Your Options

â–¶ Say What Again - create one postcard that pairs imagery with an incongruous word or saying. Something pretty with something ugly. Something ugly with something pretty. Curse words and flowers. Snarky quotes with shiny happy people. Inspirational affirmations with villainous characters.

â–¶ Cubomania Postcard - this option will remain exactly as it was when the swap originally ran: create one postcard by chopping an image up into squares and randomly rearranging them to create an entirely new image.

▶ Scrap Monsters - make 2 scrap monsters, roughly the size of a 3”x5” index card. Scrap monsters are made from bits of paper you have been saving to use glued onto a bit of cardstock. The pieces are then "stitched" together with a pen and little faces, horns/arms/tails/feet are added.

â–¶ I Can See Clearly Now - make 2 ATCs that are up to 2/3 paper material and 1/3 clear (see-thru). Example above is an ATC I made by arranging and machine stitching papers into a trading card sleeve.

â–¶ Wildcard Happy Birthday MPU HMPC - make one postcard that is sufficiently cheesy, happy, fun, wild & crazy in honor of MPU's birthday.

All swaps are handmade. Handmade postcards are to be sent naked and stamped; scrap monsters and ATCs will go in envelopes. As always, ATCs need to measure 2.5" x 3.5".

If it just so happens that you have extras leftover that you made for the original swaps, you are free to use them for this swap.

If something isn't clear, please let me know and I'll clear it up! ^_^
