Hei folks,

winter is still upon us, the days are still short, the nights long and dark and cold. What better way to cheer you up than a cosy night in with a good film and a best friend/lover/family member/pet ... whatever floats your boat! I've participated in a swap similar to this a few years ago, back then hosted by @FairyLady and I remember enjoying it very much. So, let's do this again!

To guarantee your partner an enjoyable night in, you have to send all of the following:

  • 1 DVD (pick something you loved, something you think everybody should have seen, something on your partner's wishlist ... just get creative!)

  • 1 pyjama (we all love to be comfy-cosy on the couch, so pick something for your partner to feel cosy and cuddly in - most importantly: check their size and style preferences!)

  • 1 full package of a drink (this could be anything from tea to cocoa to instant ice tea - whatever you think would suit the mood of the evening you're creating best!)

  • 1 full-size snack food (think crisps, popcorn, cookies - whatever you think would be most enjoyable for the film you picked)

  • 1 surprise (... what could this be? Make it something that fits the theme of the swap, NOT a random item from your partner's profile and not a drink or food item)

This is a fairly big swap, so here are some rules: All of this is profile based! This doesn't mean you should slavishly stick to a list of favourite movies or favourite snack foods on your partner's profile, but you should read the profile, understand their likes and dislikes and choose accordingly. If in doubt, communicate with your partner!

All of the items must be new, not past their use-by-date and in their original packaging (if applicable). EXCEPT the DVD! This can be gently used, but of course must be playable. I made this Europe only to make sure no problems concerning area codes will arise. We should all be code 2 here, so we can all play DVDs from each other's country. I think it goes without saying that the DVD must at least have subtitles in a language your partner understands.

All of this together should have a value of at least 15~20Γ’β€šΒ¬. This depends mostly on how much you pay for the pyjama. Try to use the sales that are popping up everywhere these days and don't cheap out on quality here. Do a little window shopping and you'll see that it's not necessary to go to a super cheap clothing market to get something for a low price. The internet is a fabulous place for bargain shopping, too ;).

Who can participate? Swappers from Europe and the UK who maintain a 5.0 rating with at least 20 completed type 3 swaps are welcome to join! Please post your clothing size and maybe some style preferences in the comments below.

I will angel this, but I would be very disappointed if I had to, so I will vigorously vet this swap!

Who's with me? Let's give each other a real treat and a night to remember ... of sorts ... let's face it, we'll probably just all fall asleep on the couch. But anyway, isn't that kind of the point? :)

I wear a size S (or British 8/10, European 34/36) and I love the colours black, red, green and dark purple. I DON'T like pink, yellow and blue.

Hi I'm an 18 Uk or 46 European. I prefer short sleeves but I don't really mind. I don't like yellow or orange for clothes.Other than that - surprise me. I love surprises.
