Description:

The holidays will be here before you know it! For this swap you can choose to send holiday themed stuff or not. Whichever is your preference. I'm setting the date for 12/15 for the packages to be sent out as it's only a few days before the deadline for holiday packages to arrive in either war zones.

For this swap you will send a package (you choose the size, something is better than nothing!) to a Soldier,Airman,Marine,Sailor or Coastie. You can choose to send to someone you know or I can get an address for a Soldier for you to send to. Where the swapping comes in is where you take 2-3 photos of what you are sending to your 'Soldier' and send the photos (email) to your partner.

This is international and open to newbies. Please no flakers though. This swap is open to anyone no matter what your opinions on war are but rather the support of a military member.

Suggestions as to what to send:

Snacks,toiletries,letter writing materials,crosswords, books, mix cds,a letter etc.

cutedracul, this is what is sometimes referred to as a "charity swap." You send things to a soldier. Then for the swap-bot component, you send photos and an explanation to your swap-bot partner, and s/he does the same to you. So what you get out of it is the satisfaction of participating and helping out a soldier (plus you see how someone else did the same :^).

I am so happy to see this swap! I actually got 2 addresses today from "any soldier" and will be sending packages and cards this week, I will be so happy to send pics to my partner. Great swap Zefaniya!!! Please let everyone know that if they put a sase in their gift, they may get a letter in return, be sure to include pen and paper too.

I would like to send to a Marine...and I can send 2 package if you send me the addresses -- also, it would be easier if you send me the mailing address for my partner, not an email address. I can't upload photos of my packages while I'm on travel (for business).

I have a friend who's son is serving and he's going to get me some addresses since I never got any from this swap. :( I will still take photos of my packages and mail them to my partner when I get the addresses and mail them out.
