Description:

I love to use these little notes to send with my swap information on them. They are easy to make, fun to use, and are a great way to use samples you aren't wild about.

1. Start with a piece of white cardstock.

2. Cover one whole side with washi tape. I use a glue stick to make sure everything sticks well, but you could also heat it or burnish it if you prefer.

3. Cut into 8 equal pieces. The easiest way I have found is to cut the cards on a paper cutter. Cut in half lengthwise, then cut each long piece in half, and then in half again. Your finished cards will measure 4.25" x 2.75".

4. Repeat the whole process so you have a total of sixteen cards.

Package securely, affix appropriate postage, send on time, rate promptly.

i have some cardstock, but its not white... Is that alright?

orneryswife 03/18/2018 #

As long as it doesn't affect the washi tape, since it is see- through, and you can write on the back with a regular pen. White is best, but you could use something else light colored if you don't have white.

Got it! Mine is kind of that gray cardboard color.

I accidentally miscut one of my sheets of cardstock so 4 of the cards are a little shorter than 4.25" - is that okay, or should I make another sheet?

@wombatlady I think that would be okay...best ask your partner if it matters to them.

Okay, thanks!
