9” block

We have several new members in our group so I thought I would bring back a favorite swap from previous years. We are doing this same swap in another group but I thought our new QnT members might like a chance to try it out as well.

-- 2 different Attic Window quilt blocks for each partner

-- 2 partners

-- for a total of 4 blocks sent this time.

You may send the same set of 2 different blocks to each partner.

Our goal is get a large variety of blocks for a very interesting finished product!

Whenever possible use bright and cheerful fabrics in your blocks.

--each mailed block will be 9 inches

--using novelty prints, scenery, or an interesting print as the item/items seen in the attic window

--the left side of the block should be a lighter color than the bottom side and can be plain or a small print fabric (senders’ choice)

Questions or concerns are welcome.

Enjoy!

It says 2 partners in the description but up top it says one.

thank you @ScrapHappySewer for catching that error. I will go right now and correct it. it should be 2 blocks to 2 partners for a total of 4 blocks sent.

The large block just shows a print fabric. Does it need to have a focal point? I did two swaps a long time ago (before Swapbot). One had to have roosters in the big block and the other one had any type of animals.

Sorry I didn't read it all the way I guess.

All of the "what's in your attic" swaps use any novelty or floral or interesting print for the center square block with one lighter and one darker coordinating color for window sill side and bottom. I hope that is clear. the picture is probably not the best example of what we are swapping. I am sorry for that and if I can get a better block picture soon I will post it instead.

Thank you @Fabriqueen

I was able to change the photo/sample to a block I recently made that shows what I mean by novelty centers, and coordinating side and bottom window sill colors. I hope that helps.
