Can I ask a dumb question? What is an ad postcard? Thanks in advance.

itsnobody 02/12/2019 #

@kaicee118 Ad postcard is a free postcard that you take at a shop or any other place. They are used to advertise the place. They usually have a lot of writing and address for the place on the back of the postcard and almost to none space for writing on them.

Thank you @itsnobody for helping answer @kaicee118 ‘s question. Perfectly stated advice. I thought it was a great question! :D

Thank you! Like one you'd get at a hotel (featuring the hotel itself)?

@kaicee118 a hotel postcard would probably count! around here i sometimes see them at coffee shops, but they are advertising art gallery shows. i also find ones at the library promoting events at the art theater. stuff like that.

Also I personally count the Free/Ad type is the old ones I find which came with please send us money to save the (insert animal here) fund! Typically they came with very thin PCs or cards.
