Description:

I sometimes wonder if anyone uses cursive handwriting these days. Schools don't teach it anymore and it has become quite the topic in the media questioning its relevancy.

My unpopular opinion would be that even though modern tech doesn't leave much room for the need of this skill, it still is pretty to look at and we do need to sign checks once in a while! :P

Happy to continue this series on! :)

  • @SeleneW is hosting the INTL version!**

If you are a stationery connoisseur like myself, you may find yourself pining away after fancy letter sets :) They're just so cute and posh!

For this swap, we will be writing a letter to 1 partner on a letter set. To be considered a letter set, there must be a matching sheet of paper with an envelope. Can be more than one sheet, but minimum one.

Please choose at least 3 of the following topics to write about in your letter:

  • take a moment to write about what you are thankful for today :)

  • what did you do for Halloween?

  • Imagine you won an all-inclusive "detoxification" vacation to a beautiful place in the middle of nowhere - the only caveat being you can't take your phone with you. Would you do it?

  • what are some letter swaps you might want to see @christy102194 host next? :P

  • how do you "detox" from technology?

  • what do you like to do for fun in winter?

The fine details of this, that, and the other etc:

  • one partner!

  • 4.95+ rating

  • no 1s/3s unexplained

  • USA only

  • letter set with AT LEAST one sheet of matching paper

  • minimum of 25 type 2 / 3 swaps completed

They really need to teach it.

I mailed an auction to someone. It was returned to me with the "return To Sender" sticker on it. I contacted the person and she said the address was correct. I resent and it happened again. Mailed a third time and she went to the PO to inquire why it was being returned. It turns out the new employee couldn't read cursive and was "return To Sender" everything she couldn't read.
