G: Unofficial regional cryptids

Many areas around the world will have an official animal or animal symbol. But most places also have unofficial symbols as well.

In a letter or notecard to your partner, tell them about the area you currently live. What are some of the OFFICIAL symbols? Maybe it's a tree or bird or plant?

Now, tell your partner about the UNOFFICIAL symbol or animal or cryptid. Be it a UFO sighting that is famous, The Jersey Devil or Bigfoot, tell your partner about it. Are there any famous haunted areas in your area? Feel free to add that information as well. If you have any personal experiences, most certainly tell us about that! :)

Aim for a few paragraphs for your answers. I know some areas might be a bit harder to find information about, so just do the best you can to fill in your partner about the monsters in the place you live - and any experiences you may have had with them!
