Description:

For this private, profile-based trade, we will be creating one (1) collaged Rolodex card -- after first visiting our partner's profile, to review her list of favorite themes and subjects. Beyond that, the rest of the details are Sender's Choice.

We'll make our work thick and sturdy, since one of the most delicious things about these little treasures is how chunky and weighty they are in the hand.

Please decorate both sides, and please sign your completed Rolodex card with your SwapBot username (and your real name, too, if you like.)

Let's add any important or specific preferences (like size of Rolodex card, current obsessions, "do not sends," etc.) in the comment section below, so they're not accidentally overlooked.

Best work only - Have fun - Looking forward - Thanks!

I'm collecting Rolodex art specifically for display on my new/old stock vintage rotary Rolo spinner. So in order to fit, the Rolos I receive need to be created in the original (smaller) size, which measures:

4"w x 2.25"h

It's okay to add tabs (or other embellishments) that extend slightly beyond the top edge, up to a maximum of 2.75"h. I measured, and my Rolo spinner has enough clearance for that extra height.

I'd be delighted with anything that aligns with my profile's list of "Things I love." :)

Oh, one more thing, not mandatory but a strong preference.

I’ll be storing these cards on my rotary Rolodex holder, which simultaneously displays one card front (holes at bottom) and another card back (holes at top.) So will you please decorate one side with holes at bottom (standard) and the backside with holes up top (reversed)…? That way, your work will be viewable wherever it is on my holder. Thank you!

I like my back to be upside down, too, even though I have both the rotary holder and the flat one.

I like the 3 x 5" size; if you don't have these cards, please just use index cards (like you would to make a Skinny) - I can put the notches on the card.

I'll be sending you some of the different sizes of cards I have.
