Disturbing Horror Movie Email Exchange!

Do you like being scared? Are you ready for Halloween in August? Do you want to sit down with a new (to you) movie and feel... weird and bad? Great! That's what we'll be doing in this swap.

I've compiled the list below the swap instructions from various "Most Disturbing Horror Films of All Time" lists. Here are 3 of those: 1 2 3. Note that some of these contain spoilers, but there are plot summaries for most here, and info on where to watch some of them.

For this swap, pick one movie from this list that you haven't seen, and watch it! Then, email your partner one paragraph (at least 4 - 6 sentences) about the movie. Did you like it? Why or why not? Was it hard to watch? Was it boring? Were there any standout scenes? Scenes you felt were cheesy? Etc.

Then, recommend a horror movie that isn't on the list. Write 4 - 6 sentences explaining why you like it.

You may write about as many movies as you like, as long as you meet this minimum criteria above. You will have one partner, because I feel like that makes it a bit more personal. Please put in effort! You may even want to add a brief introduction about yourself, or your horror movie-adjacent interests (paranormal, etc), but it's not required.
