R&W: Share This Day in History

International, 1 partner, flat mail / cost of one stamp to mail.

I signed up for "This Day In History" from the History channel a bunch of years ago, and I find it very interesting to see what all happened on the day. I thought we could share the experience.

For this swap, you will have one partner and send them a short note or note card (or Frankenletter, if you like those.) Before you write out the swap, look up what happened on the day you are writing and choose 1-2 items (minimum) that you find interesting or amusing and tell your partner what happened and why you find it interesting. Write more than a few lines, but I'm not going to set a word count. This is a writing group, I trust all of you. :)

You don't need to sign up for anything or buy anything. You should be able to just search for "What happened today in history" or "This day in history" to find a list. Just make sure you have the day's date set.
