International, 1 partner, flat mail / cost of one stamp to send.

@HouseofImps hosted a series of FrankenDivination Deck Swaps at the end of last year. They were so much fun! I asked for permission to host the swap here in the group, and I'll post both a US only swap and an International version. If anyone has a preference either way, please do let me know. I do like to accommodate, but posting both versions can get to be a lot! :)

You can click on the clicky above to see the wording they used for their swap, but the basic idea is to create a deck of unrelated cards that could be used for a quicky reading, and all decks will end up differently, so we'll need to put on our thinking caps to intuitively read what we've received. But, ultimately, it's up to you what you use the cards for, of course.

For this swap you will be sending 3 store bought or very nicely hand drawn or professionally printed cards to your partner in an envelope w/ a note containing the swap title and your ID. You can add extra details if you wish, such as why your chose the cards, where you got them, etc. That's up to you.

What kind of cards are we talking about here? Think along these categories:

standard playing cards, traditional or unique shapes, sizes and designs.

trading cards from games, cards from board games, themed card games

Tarot or oracle cards

Sports trading cards

Or anything else that fits the above styles and could give someone some insight. :)

The original swaps were for store-bought cards only, but as we're a group and some are artistic, I'm opening this round (at least) up to cards that you have drawn yourself, as long as they are nicely done and will fit in with a deck (please don't put a sticker on a sheet of computer paper and call it go - that's a no-go. but if you hand draw on card stock and would be pleased to present it to someone, please feel free!) Personally, I have bought some decks as printables that I really like, but aren't sold as printed cards. So I might have some of the designs professionally printed (b/c I don't trust my home printer!) on card stock to send out to my partner. Bottom line: send your partner something you, yourself would be pleased to receive.

You are sending 3 cards. Try to mix it up a bit and send at least 2 different types or designs of cards.

So, what do you say? Want to try it out? :)

Questions, comments or concerns, please send me a PM. SB doesn't alert hosts to comments left below, and I never think to check the comments section in time to get out a reply in time! But I do check my SB messages and will reply as soon as I can.

You must belong to the the Pagan Community Centre Group in order to join this swap.
