Description:

Don't you miss how much fun Valentines Day was as a kid? Of course we all do! In this series of swaps you will be able to get a Valentines box and goodies to go inside! Join as many or as few as you want.

Step1 - The Box!

  • For this swap you will get a box and decorate it in the theme of Valentines Day! (You can check your partners profile for ideas and dislikes) This is senders choice but do not send something that your partner will hate.
  • Good quality is also a requirement. Examples are, glue that doesn't stick for long, or cheap construction paper that tears easy (like what we always had in grade school).
  • Size - The smallest it can be is the size of a cigar box. The biggest should probably be a shoe box. (A kleenex box works great here too.) Remember that it needs to be able to have room for Valentines Day cards and gifts of different sizes.
  • Opening - The box should have an opening to put the cards in, and another way to open the box to get everything out!
  • Sending extra's is always optional but not required. It may just help you earn that heart! *(Disclamer: Swap participants should never demand that they receive a heart for their sent swap items. Hearts are only to be given at the discretion of each swap recipient. Cited )

Requirements:

  • US only
  • No newbies
  • 4.9 Rating
  • I reserve the right to ban anyone I feel would flake or make this a bad swap experience.

so are we making AND sending the box by the 24th? I'm a little unclear

zigg13pra 12/28/2010 #

When else would you send it by?

ladywolfsong 12/29/2010 #

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear on the directions until I read the other swaps....whether we sent it out or kept it to fill it....

zigg13pra 12/29/2010 #

Oh ok. Well this is a swap. so you send it to your one partner and you get one in return to fill up.

oh today is the day.... I have decided to make boxes for my kids too.... i figured i can make a love-bot, a turtle (where the shell opens) a vw bug (where the trunk opens) and im super full of ideas for my partner whoever it may be.....

I just bought crafty materials for the one I'm making too!

I want to do this, but newbies are allowed for the other pieces but not the box... why not? I have swapped before, but I stopped doing it for a long time. My sister uses swapbot, and I decided it would be a good place to get back into swaps.

Well, I guess only step 3 allows newbies... still, it's weird to only be able to sign up for one part.

I did not want to allow newbies into swaps that require higher crafting or $$ components. There are other smaller swaps newbies can join to get their ratings up before joining these types of swaps. Both steps 2 and 3 allow newbies as these are only card swaps.
