Hi! I'm a cat-mom and grad student living in Louisiana who loves reading, running, gardening, true crime, knitting, creative writing, history, hiking/camping, tea, painting, hockey, and scary movies.
I enjoy knitting, especially small projects like cozies and socks. I can also sew (poorly!) and would like to learn to crochet. I tried book-binding for a while and loved it— hoping to get back to that soon when I have time between school and work.
BIG fan of the thriller/mystery genre. I will devour those books in a day or two. I also enjoy YA and the Classics (Austen, Bronte, Dickens, etc).
I split my music interests between my local college radio and our public radio station. Fav genres are classical, downtempo, and indie. My city also has a community radio station powered by a local high school, which I think is pretty cool! If you have a local station you recommend, I'd love to hear about it.
Right now, I'm really into food packaging postcards. It's interesting to see how marketing differs in other countries and regions. I also enjoy upcycling, so please do not hesitate to make cards or swaps out of whatever you have!
Handmade cards are wonderful! It doesn't matter your artistic skill. If you feel like sending something creative, go for it!
To my partners: I check my PO box 1-2 times a week. I'll rate as soon as I receive! I also try to mail out my swaps within 1-3 days of partner assignments. If you don't receive anything from me within the expected time, send me a PM!
