thanks for your comment on my profile.
It was nice to read in dutch even if the translation was poor. ;-)
I love reading christian books on practical issues as raising kids, parenting, keeping your marriage strong. But I also love to read novels of christian writers as Francine Rivers, Karen Kingsbury, Adrian Plass, Frank Peretti, Randy Alcorn and others.
I also read a lot about jewish lifestyle. I even followed a basic course in Hebrew. I love it and will learn more about it when my little boy is a little older and will go to kindergarten.
Your profile is absolutely lovely! :) Your kitties remind me of mine. I have Lux - my 2 year old gray tabby, who is my miss priss. She doesn't like most people, but whenever someone new comes over she has to jump in their laps and let them know of her presence! Then I have two kittens about 6 months old.. Bruce Lee - after the famous- who is always squint eyed and has a crazy meow.. a little different than your Sebastian. Then Chuck Norris (now Chuck because we found out Chuck was a girl when she went in heat a few weeks ago!!) So now we have two girls and one boy.. luckily Lux is fixed! Plus we have 2 pit-bull dogs.. the 1st is Dodge, he is all white with ice blue ices that look white.. he looks albino... :P and Gracie.. my first puppy!! She is sweet and tries to shake hands with everyone that comes around!
Your fable is flat out funny! :) Glad you posted it, can't wait until you post a different one. I'll be checking back! Happy Swapping!
Hello Ayn-- what a wonderfully lyrical profile you have; it was an absolute pleasure to read. I also love the cast of kitty characters that you have in your life-- they sound as though they may provide inspiration towards your writing. I notice that you are in a 'zine group-- this is something that I am just finding my way into-- hopefully we will swap sometime in the near future.
I love your writing. I have a learning disability and couldn't read untill the 4th grade but have a deep love of words and I think you must share a bookshelf or room of books with me. I to love to write fairy tails. I have a collection of fairy tails from all over . Your pet stories are just to funny, They sound like they could star in their own books. I feel your love of paper like I feel your love of books. I hope some day we get to swap and paper is part of it. I also want to say you have the most complete profile I have seen on swap-bot. have a grate day and happy swapping!
Oh my goodness... one of my cats also has the vocabulary of a dock worker!! I never could put that sentiment into words! You are a gifted writer, I SO wish I had that as more of a strength. Thanks for the nice comment on my forum post. :) We must be kindred spirits!
Sent you a friend request - no one here EVER thinks to check their Relationship tabs! :D We need an auto-alert, just like the 'someone has posted to your profile' emails... Please feel free to check my profile @masterbard and if you think we might be kindred spirits, do accept!
Where can I read more of your writing (in particular a fractured fable)? Even in so limited a form as your profile, your style is evocative and enthralling. Rosie, for example, emerges as a truly authentic feline character. And your other cats are delightfully named! (Ours were Tybalt, Kublai Khat, Kepicha (Korean for 'cinnamon tea'), and 'Chosun' (Korean for 'dancer')....
