About Me

Hi I'm a SAHM of 3. 2 girls and a boy. I love to sew, quilt and craft. I love using vintage and recycled items when I can. I have a degree in Art Education and love to make handmade whenever I can.

I love vintage sheets and fabric.

Fabrics I like: novelty prints for boy or girl, polka dots, stripes, modern prints, 1930's prints

I'm not to big on pastel colors, primary colors, or dull drab colors.

Anything with mushrooms or owls is awesome! Cute little animals are always fun chicken, squirrels, foxes, and hedgehogs are great.

I also love retro looking sewing items.

Fabrics I would like to add to my stash: Text fabrics, retro looking prints, 1930 repro prints, Japanese fabrics, Vintage sheets

Favorite Crafts

sewing, quilting, machine embroidery, handmade toys, gardening, hiking and exploring nature with my family, We are now the owners of 3 beautiful chickens which has been so much fun and they give us fresh eggs everyday!!

Farmers Wife Blocks

I am excited to be a part of the Farmers Wife block swap. Ive just gotten the book and am really enjoying reading all the letters. I tend to like the simpler blocks but haven't seen one that i don't like either! I love 1930's prints and also love fun modern prints. Im pretty easy to please. Id love a cushion cover or zip pouch or whatever you fancy to make.
