What a wonderful surprise! Thank you for the St. Michael necklace. I will pray for world peace and our country's military when the necklace reminds me to trust in God. Thank you Indira. You are so kind in all you do for our group!
Hi, Indira, Have a wonderful Christmas. I hope you like the poem.
A Star, A Child Was Born on Christmas Morn
A hundred million years ago
I Sat on long forgotten shores
looking into a deep black sky
watching, waiting, I knew not why
That day so long ago a star was born.
One night two thousand years ago
I sat on now forgotten knolls
looking into a deep black sky
watching, waiting, a star shone bright,
that day so long ago a Child was born.
Last night I though of long ago
as I stood in the frosty snow
looking into a deep black sky
watching, waiting, now knowing why,
a star, a child was born on Christmas morn.
Thank you Sister Indira for the vintage postcard. We have Clydesdale horses in Danish parades in Solvang during the holidays. Yes it is still a stressful world but we say "Jesus, I trust in You."

A Christmas Poem for you.
This Holy Night By Kay Hollerman
Come let us go this holy night to Bethlehem afar; The faith within our hearts will be Our bright and guiding star.
No royal gifts like Magi brought Have we to take along, But in our hearts will softly ring The Angels' Christmas song.
We'll leave behind the hurried pace Of Christmas man-made style, And in the quiet of our hearts We'll find the Holy Child.
For who hath nought to give but love Gives all his heart away And giving all, hath all to give Another Christmas day. ~Charles W. Kennedy~
Let us each one show the spirit of love and glorify God! Merry Christmas! Hugs, Diane
