Hi! I am an original swap-bot member who took an unplanned ten year break from the site. I missed swapping and am glad to be at a point where I can participate again. Some things have stayed the same, but others have really changed. I'm still getting my bearings and looking for trusted swappers and groups who like to do really nice swaps.

I work hard to be a great swap partner. My goal is to give as good of an experience as I hope to receive. If you ever have any concerns please let me know.

I'm a librarian and a faculty member focused on the undergraduate student experience.

I love shopping. I love stationery, colorful pens, and writing letters and post cards. I love hot summer weather with plenty of sunshine. I love sending and receiving mail. I'm fond of gel pens and ballpoint pens in a variety of colors, especially green, orange, and pink. I love mechanical pencils (.5mm) and dislike wooden pencils you sharpen. I like snowflakes.

I am on an ongoing quest to find the perfect purse.

I love sewing although I have been on a crafting hiatus. My fabric stash consists primarily of 100% cottons in solid colors, floral prints, polka dots, stars, fun random patterns, and other cute designs. I like making zipper pouches, snap pouches, reusable bags (I participated in the morsbags project), and aprons. I also have a nice stash of buttons, threads, and other sewing accessories. I still need to learn how to make button holes.

I'm a big fan of Orbit WHITE Bubblemint gum, milk chocolate, Stauffers chocolate animal crackers, cashews, and chocolate covered graham crackers. I've rediscovered 100 Grand candy bars, so good! In 2023 I have been trying to be more active and eat better,

I do not like coffee, chai, dark chocolate, or melon flavor. I do like most tea (herbal, green, and black). Constant Comment decaf and Orange Pekoe are particular favorites. I do not like English Breakfast or Rooibos tea.

Colors I enjoy include white, black, pink, green, blue, orange, and red. During the pandemic I began buying my prescription glasses online and own frames in many of these colors.

I love video games. I game from time to time on my Nintendo Switch. I also have a SNES, PS4, and Wii in my collection, but not hooked up. Styles of game play I like include RPG, fighting, and first person shooter. I'm a big fan of Super Mario/Paper Mario, Ratchet and Clank, classic Mortal Kombat I-III, Tetris, Sim City 4, and Zuma.

I am allergic to melons and nickel. If sending me handmade jewelry, sterling silver is the way to go. I dislike spicy and musk scents, as well as cigarette smoke.

Currently enjoying Yacht rock, classic rock, pop, rap, hip-hop, r&b, smooth jazz, dance, electronica and anything with steel drums. I'm also fond of 70's, 80's. and 90's music. I usually listen to these via SiriusXM or Pandora. I have a soft spot for the electric slide. I do enjoy holiday music and Christmas carols but only during that time of year.

I always have a hard time selecting favorites. Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein crack me up every time. I also like The Blues Brothers. I watch a lot of documentaries. I do not tend to watch the same movies over and over.

I've been watching a lot of limited series documentaries, competition shows that let you observe human behavior (Alone is the most recent one), and the new season of The Witcher.

Sewing, baking, and fabric painting (although it's been a long time). I occasionally branch out into other things that involve paper and glue such as making envelopes.

I am not interested in receiving ATC's or batik fabrics. No shade, they're just not my thing.
