I am a wife, mom, and lover of all things crafty. I am also a Princess because my Father is King of Everything.

I love thrift stores, rummage sales, yards sales and finding unique items.

My favorite colors are purple, orange, pink, silver, green, and earth tones.

I love to explore the world and oftentimes that is from the comfort of home and the computer. I enjoy new foods and learning new things and I am not afraid to try anything. I am trying to teach myself Chinese (Mandarin) and how to play an acoustic guitar now and I can read Spanish better than I speak it and brushing up on my French.

I love fabrics and fibers. I am a SAHM so I am often on a budget and love being able to create something beautiful out of fabrics and fibers. I am not a fabric or yarn snob, I love odd notions and trims which come in handy for all types of projects. Now that doesn't mean I want a bunch of junk though. (smile)

Also, there are no fiber allergies but I don't like SMOKE or SMOKE smell so if you do smoke and you can make it smell pretty that would make me happy.

I love chocolate, desserts (all kinds), lattes/coffee and Pepsi (trying to cut back). I also love Italian, Indian, Thai, Mexican...I love food!

Sports

I love Jeff Gordon and the Dallas Cowboys.

Favorite Television

CSI (only Vegas and Miami), NASCAR, DIY/HGTV shows (Knitty Gritty, Uncommon Threads, Stylicious, Craft Juice, etc.), Food Network, The Closer, Criminal Mind, Numbers, Project Runway, Tim Gunn's Guide to Style, Top Chef

My Blessings

I am a mother of 3 but 1 is already an angel. The other two have tilted halos like their mom. :)

Princess is 5 going on 25 and is a true girly girl. She had a liver transplant when she was very young and is our little miracle. She loves pink, purple, glitter, and stuff that sparkles.

Prince is 4 and is all boy. If there is dirt and water anywhere within a 5 mile radius he will be in it. He loves orange and blue and he also likes dinosaurs and monster trucks.

Not fond of....

Kawaii, anime, skull/bones, hair accessories...

Comment: Well...you just take the cake, Kiva, as far as swap partners go!!!!! I was like a little birthday girl opening her presents. I squealed like a little piggy when I saw everything! First, your letter was so descriptive...I could totally imagine you sewing and creating in your space. secondly, the journal is so fab!! I can't believe it. You should join our group "Love To Travel"...one of our swaps is to create a journal just like you did. The wheat filled pillow is so cool, smells wonderful and will be used for sure. I love the pin cushion....and I needed one. The girls ooooooohd and ahhhhhd over the fabric. And finally, my son went cuckoo for coco puffs over the military coin!!! I'm head over heels in love with this swap. Thank you a million times with a million hearts for you!!!!!!!!!!!!
