Hi Everyone :)

I'm so excited to be joining this swap. I had done something similar when I was younger, but it's been more than 15 years and I've been really wanting to get back into it.

I love all things kawaii. Anything cute and colorful. After a few dark years because of COVID, I decided I wanted to try and fill my life with happier things which includes plenty of cute stationary such as stickers, washi tape, and memo pads. The serotonin boost it gives me is better than any drug haha. So if you are partnered with me you can always guarantee you'll have a cute animal somewhere :)

I also love to craft. I have a 3 year old and after spending many of my days thinking I only had time to be a mother, I started delving back into crocheting, painting, and now digital art. It's been a really great year trying to reintroduce myself to things I loved doing before I had my son.

I don't have any real dislikes as anything anyone puts effort in is beautiful to me, but I will say I'm not into things that are too antique or vintage. Once again I can appreciate this, but my current obsession is anything colorful and cute.

That's a little about me. I'm quite chatty and I'm definitely looking for a penpal to match!

I didn't realize there was a category for this before I wrote the above but I guess I wanted to get more in depth with this :) I've been really into making amigurumi... I unfortunately do not have any finished projects because I have a million unfinished ones! Once again with the cute theme... I just can't get enough.

I've been painting with my good friend recently. We'll get together and do a bob ross night and either paint what's instructed or paint whatever we feel like. I'm not very good at it, but it's still enjoyable.

I've been so into digital art. It's just so portable and procreate just makes things so much easier for you. I love it! If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend. I'm currently having a brain fart on what I want to do next, but since it's easy to carry around my ipad if ever the mood strikes I can get to work :)

I didn't mention this above but I also really like to embroider. I have this ongoing piece I've been working on that looks like brush strokes. I think I'll get back into it.

I honestly love all crafts. I've done so much in the past years and I'm slowly trying to get back into it but trying not to go too overboard since I don't want to clutter my house with a ton of craft supplies!

I like a wide variety of films. I was trying to really pinpoint my likes but it's really difficult since there are just so many good films! I guess I tend to like more films in the Indie category but I love really can enjoy almost any movie.

I don't watch too much tv anymore but I can always enjoy a really good Korean drama (My most recent watch is sky castle!!). This is a hard category for me also since I enjoy so many genres and honestly it's been months since I've watched tv.

I wanted to write in here in particular since I've been wanting to get into more anime. I loved Dorohedoro but haven't really been able to find anything to match that. I would love some recommendations :)
