Hello! My name is Sharon, I've been married for 22 years and am the mom of 3...two young adults and one teenager. Born and raised in Florida..I haven’t traveled to very many places, so I love hearing about where you live! I have a few kitties that started out as feral litters that we rescued, and a handsome bearded dragon who is my daughter’s. I just love and adore all animals. I love taking pics and gardening. Watching the birds and squirrels playing in my yard..Sitting on the porch with a hot drink or cold sweet tea and someone to chat with is one of the greatest things in life! Especially when I have the birds, dragonflies, butterflies, and other wildlife all around me. I have big beautiful Southern Live Oak trees surrounding my home, with a view of the Indian River which is a block away. I feel so blessed to have all this nature around me. I'm definitely an animal and nature lover. I love being out in the sunshine and fresh air. Although I do enjoy a good Florida summer afternoon thunderstorm. I am very spiritual in nature. I respect all beliefs and walks of life..I feel like we are all here to help each other through life, and make life a bit easier and happier for others.
I really get into and enjoy all the holidays...my favorite is Easter! Spring is my favorite season. But Halloween and Fall are also my favorite time! I love Christmas but I don’t love cold weather...at all! Good thing I’m a Floridian where cold weather doesn’t show up too much lol!
For Halloween I don’t like gory or real scary, I prefer cute or vintage, or the older type scary stuff. I love witch dolls but not the real ugly “evil” ones lol. I have a Raggedy Ann witch doll that sits in my bedroom year round, she’s really cute!
I love any and all history, I will read anything historical! I also love to read about paranormal and the metaphysical. Also love magazines, any food or home decorating mostly..
Favorite music..I really do love just about anything. I love country, mostly older country like Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, George Jones, Hank Jr, my favorite is George Strait…I also love Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Chris Young, etc Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers Band, Tom Petty, the Eagles, John Denver (love anything and everything of his, nice childhood memories with my parents) and then I love the 80s and the hair bands lol. And then really everything in between! I also like to listen to piano music
I am really into history, floral design, home decorating, cooking, baking, being out in nature, gardening, bird watching, photography, stargazing, and learning about other people and cultures. I hope to travel to Europe some day.
I believe in natural and alternative healing...healing with plants, energy healing, crystals...
I also love jewelry, especially vintage or vintage style. Boho, artisan, handmade. Love dangle and hoop earrings...bracelets, rings. Also I am starting to collect brooches. Also jewelry made from crystals for healing. I have lots of different crystals but alI also collect other things found in nature like cool rocks and shells. I also collect coffee mugs, though I have favorites I alternate what mugs I use depending on the season and holiday. And I love love love to drink coffee!
I love handmade mug rugs and potholders..
Anything related to native Americans. Two of my great grandmothers were both Native American, (Seminole and Cherokee) and I am very interested in anything and everything relating to that.
Anything from the 1982 World’s fair in Knoxville Tennessee. We went there when I was 9 years old. Every summer my family would go to the Smoky and Blue Ridge mountains. I have so many happy memories of that! It helps me feel connected to my daddy who passed in 2007, he loved the smokies. So if you live in that area, anything, even a tourist map, I’d love!

I really love everything! It's fun to get to know people and I love getting something that someone else enjoys with a story behind it....I love to connect with people.
If you live in a place where anything historical is or a good story please share!!! I'd love any type of little newspaper clipping or tourist map, anything from your area you’d like to share!
Unfortunately I’m not all that crafty lol. I do like to use cute or vintage buttons and fabrics for some easy crafts, for example I made fabric pumpkins for fall with cute buttons on them..etc
I also like to design my own floral wreaths and flower arrangements. I do make fabric wreaths as well.
I’d like to start making soap, so anything you’d need for that I could use! I also make my own essential oil sprays.
I love any type of postcards, especially vintage or vintage reproductions! I also love tourist postcards from places you have visited or live. I'm happy with ANY though! I keep ALL of them and from time to time will go back and read them again.
I sometimes will frame postcards and hang above my writing desk.
