I’m a 28-year-old, half-Cuban/Korean American foodie living in the former swampland of South Florida. I love dreaming up stories (and occasionally writing them down), photography, illustration, video games, and food. I can't wait to swap with cool people like you!

My crafting passion is illustration. Here are bits of my non-fanart, digital work:

My favorite book series is Harry Potter, but I also love other fantasy series like the Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and A Song of Ice and Fire. I also love sci-fi (e.g., Michael Crichton's novels), horror (e.g., Stephen King), and classic children’s novels (e.g., The Secret Garden, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, etc.). I have quite a soft spot for magical realism, and I'm currently attempting to write in that genre.

For you curious Harry Potter fans, I am a Hufflepuff by choice. I get sorted into Gryffindor every time, but honestly, who would want to be THAT far from the kitchens?

My favorite form of film is animated films, with Disney and Studio Ghibli at the very top.

As far as live action goes, I love most of Steven Spielberg’s films, Christopher Nolan's entire filmography (especially Inception and Interstellar), and everything Guillermo Del Toro has made. Cinematography is huge for me, and Tarsem Singh's films are breathtaking. I also love classic Hollywood films (like Dr. Strangelove and Sunset Blvd). Foreign films can also be incredible!

Other faves: Venture Bros, ATHF, Archer, South Park, Futurama, Bob's Burgers, AtLA, OtGW, Steven Universe, Arrested Development, Parks and Rec, X-Files, Pushing Daisies, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Orange is the New Black, Orphan Black, House of Cards, Narcos, Breaking Bad, and so many more!

Fave anime: Sailor Moon, Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Gintama, One Punch Man, Cardcaptor Sakura, Hunter x Hunter, Ouran HSHC, Trigun, DBZ, and more!

Former faves but currently in the shame corner for chasing me off with bad writing: Supernatural, Walking Dead, and Game of Thrones. A part of me still likes these series, but I would really love to walk behind the writers with a bell. SHAME SHAME SHAME ding ding ding

I love a good soundtrack! Jeremy Soule is my absolute favorite composer, and I fell in love with his work BEFORE picking up a single Elder Scrolls game. Hans Zimmer, Inon Zur, Béatrice Martin, Yann Tiersen and, of course, John Williams are also incredible.

Other than OSTs and classical, I like progressive or alternative rock best, but I do have faves from nearly every genre, from kpop to underground hip hop to bluegrass! I'm also a huge fan of rock concert posters (Google "Mastodon concert posters" to see how cool they can be).

Current fave: Witcher / Currently playing: Animal Crossing

I. Love. Video. Games. Especially ones with great characters, deep storytelling, memorable dialogue, and/or puzzles!

Other than the Japanese classics you can see here in sprite form (and newer ones like Kingdom Hearts), I'm also a huge fan of Western RPGs like the Witcher, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Elder Scrolls series.

(Psst...does anyone remember Mognet from FF9? Cute!)

I also love playing Pathfinder, but I am a complete newbie to tabletop gaming. I've got a few characters lined up that I'm dying to try out!

In other words, if you want to get me blabbing for hours, ask me about games! :)

Dislikes: Clowns.

Likes: Pretty much everything else. Aside from my fandoms, I particularly love florals, polka dots, stripes, pixel art, and religious iconography.
