Hello, there! My name's Tai. I'm 35, transmasc, and I currently live in the US. (I recently moved back after a decade in Japan.)

Please pardon any typed letters you may receive! I am still dealing with long Covid, and my fine muscle/nerve/motor skills still aren't back to where they used to be, so long, handwritten letters can be quite challenging/painful for me to create. But rest assured that no less love and care goes into every one of my swaps! ^^

I've been pen palling for a few years, but I've made the jump from simpler letters/postcards to full projects in the past year or so, and I am having a blast!

My day job(?) is being a web shop owner/operator/etc. for a little store that sells fantasy-themed loose leaf teas and accessories. (You can check out my stuff at my site!) If you get a swap from me, you might end up with a tea sample imagined and blended by yours truly~ (If your profile says you’re okay with loose leaf teas, that is!)

When I'm not working or crafting, I love playing video games, mostly RPGs, as well as reading and writing fanfiction.

I'm quite easy to please, so please let my profile/likes/dislikes be a guideline more than hard-and-fast rules!

ITEMS: Almost anything, truthfully! Most especially, things I can use for other snail mails! Paper samples, washi tapes, stickers, paperclips, dies, die cuts, cling stamps... ^^ I really like to receive things from other countries and/or independent artists, so if you have stationery products of your own or local brands you'd love to share, then I'd love to see them!

AESTHETICS: Again, almost anything, haha. My favorites are vintage, botanical, cute, colorful, and academic!

MAIL: Please tell me about you! About your day, where you're from, things you like or don't like, etc. I also really love stories, quotes, and song lyrics!

POSTCARDS: Almost anything! Please see my "ABCs" section for loads of things I like, but I'm open to anything~ :)

TEA/COFFEE: Tea, please! I just cannot get into coffee, and I'm so sorry. ^^' But with regard to tea, I have yet to meet a tea I don't like, so please send me anything and everything! I'd love to try it! I'm fine with tea bags or loose leaf, however, please make sure the ingredients are listed on the packaging!

PLEASE DO NOT SEND GLITTER OR SEQUINS! (Unless they are made of paper.) I have small pets, and I don't want to risk accidental ingestion.

I'm not really into neon colors. Bold/primary colors are fine, but if it looks like it'll glow in the dark, it's not my style. ^^'
