hey there - my name is laurie and i am a young film student attending a community college in minnesota. snail mail is one of my favorite hobbies, but i also enjoy drawing, scrapbooking and origami - i want to make a comic, but there's only so much time! my two favorite comics are WATCHMEN and PUNK ROCK JESUS. i am also a huge star wars fan, and george lucas was somewhat an inspiration to go into the film program for college. i LOVE animals, i have four guinea pigs and two rabbits.

i collect stickers, postcards, used stamps, coins, actually, i am fine with anything i receive! i love handmade items, even if it is just an envelope used to harbor a letter.

i love world history and want to know as much as possible about all sorts of political systems and the history and border changes and everything, and if you do too (and around the ages of 18-23) i would love to talk about it with you!

i don't know how to describe my "style" but i definitely love punk rock and alternative rock bands like against me! and nirvana and i'm obsessed with aliens/conspiracy theories/outer space. i make a lot of "outer space" envelopes myself and i just love weird stuff. i love mail art and making irregular shaped envelopes as well!

i dislike religion, bible verses, religious paraphernalia, it's not my thing. please do not send me items that include them. i'm not much of a tea drinker and anytime someone sends me a packet, i feel bad because i don't like it, and end up sending it to another friend or giving it to someone in real life.
