Hi, I'm Anne, and I love Swap-Bot, Postcrossing and Penpalling. I'm a wife, mom of 3, happy homemaker and writer (non-fiction for literary journals)

I love reading, writing and receiving letters, reading, penpalling, journaling, Postcrossing, cooking - especially ethnic foods, listening to music, and birdwatching. I've turned our backyard into a bird oasis; it's such fun to sit on my back patio in the mornings, drinking my coffee and watching their antics!

I'm NUTS about crows - I collect figurines, art, pictures, etc. :)

Favorite Music

Soft and hard rock hits from the 70s and 80s; R&B and Motown classics, global fusion style sometimes, especially Middle Eastern, and classical music (besides Bach, his stuff gets on my nerves lol) are my favorites.

Favorite Books

I love both non-fiction and fiction. Biography, history, books about animal behavior, books about other cultures, and as for fiction: mostly horror.

Favorite Movies

I love movies! Too many to count! It would be impossible to try to list them here. I'd probably say my favorite of all time is "Gladiator" if I were pressed!

Favorite Television

My husband and I love to chill on the couch together watching True Crime channels at night.

Oh and I have to confess: I am obsessed with the Hallmark Christmas movies. I don't care if they are corny, that's probably why I love them so much!

Favorite Crafts

I sure wish I was "crafty" but that is sadly not a talent I have. I channel my creativity through writing my pen pals.

Oh, I do love to make wreaths, I've done several, they're so easy, just need a plain one, a glue gun and stuff to glue on it, viola!

Loves & Miscellany

What follows is NOT a "gimme list" as I'm excited as a kid to get ANYthing in the mail, trust me. I'm easy to please : )

Comment: Thank you for the letter, card and recipe. We have displayed our swaps for the holidays and this was a great addition. Halloween is my favorite holiday so we love to go all out with decorating and keep many decorations up to mix with Yule/Christmas.

Now, you tell me that that isn't the best granola bar you've ever had. I ate fourteen of them in one day last week. NEVER eat fourteen granola bars in one day. EVER. Good call; listen to Aces Up! I'm gonna put them on whilst I clean/organize. Ughh. Sounds fantastic.
