Jan 2021- I'm on medical leave for the next 4-6 weeks and won't be doing any swaps. If you are waiting for a rating, let me know. I went back and checked all my swaps but just in case I missed one.
Regarding swaps...there are occasions when I mail out my swaps on the due date but after the mail is collected for the day. My local post office collects mail from the drive up boxes at 530pm. If I don't make it in time, the swap is still mailed on the correct date even though it won't go off until the next business day. I let my partners know as this may cause a next day postage mark. I'm committing to getting my swaps sent out much earlier instead of waiting to the last day.
I'm day dreamer, star gazer, well wisher, and free with whimsy.
Most of all, I'm completely, unapologetic-ally ME!
I currently live in Kentucky with my husband and new Tabby kitty, Miso. Although I'm a southern girl at heart, I lived in NY for 9 years where I met and married my husband of 10 years. He's a fuzzy man-bear. I work as a case manager for people with intellectual/developmental disabilities. One of my passions is helping people find their voice and knowing what they're capable of. My husband and I pastor together at a small, country church and I'm also pursuing ordination. My life did a 180* when I came to Jesus, and I love sharing my story.
I'm a, "stop and smell the roses," type lady! It's not uncommon for me to spontaneously take off and drive. I love day trips to cutesy, little villages, farm markets, and state parks. Hiking and exploring waterfalls is my new craze. I crave the unique and different life brings.
I enjoy spring showers, summer nights, autumn bonfires, and moonlit snowfall. I find comfort in nature, oddities, and the hilarity life brings. I love making the old new again!
I fancy good coffee, crunchy bagels, hot tea, dark chocolate, all ethnic foods, and extra sharp cheese. I'm a foodie and develop my own recipes. I plan on having a cookbook one day.
I enjoy country, vintage, and retro styles. I love pin-up hair, bright red lip stick, and heels. Okay, I really mean comfortable flats. hehe
Painting- I'm not a pro but enjoy water colors, acrylics, and paint markers. I usually find a design on pinterest and have fun. I'm a pinterest freak!
Things I like making: burlap wreaths, cake stands, candle holders, and decorative signs.
Gardening- I love, love, love flowers everywhere!
I love stationary, stickers, washi tape, magnets, pens, and pretty blank note cards. I enjoy sending cards and journaling.
Baking desserts and decorating cakes are a long time hobby. I swoon for cute cupcake liners, toppers, sprinkles, and pie pans.
Purple, black cats, Pusheen, tea time, wooden jewelry, cookbooks, old recipes, mason jars, rural living, pretty scarves, hippie bags, bare feet on the grass, antique tea cups, chia seeds, beef jerky, fine chocolate, stickers, post cards, note cards, pens/pencils, post it notes, wooden signs, decals
Homemade, second hand, and fair trade! Let's live intentionally and responsibly.
Let's talk tea!!! If anyone would like to do private tea swaps, I'm game, message me! My favorites... Clipper, Baltimore Tea Company, Bigelow, Stash. I enjoy Guayusa, Mate, Chai, herbal, floral, fruity, earthy teas.
I'm not a fan of apricot, licorice, or jasmine teas. I also don't care for teas with artificial sweeteners. Natural sweeteners like coconut sugar, honey, maple syrup, stevia, agave, monk fruit are fine.
I love, love, love coffee!!! My favorite brands are Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters, Baltimore Coffee and Tea Company, Equal Exchange, Stump Town. I prefer dark roast. I'm not a fan of exotic flavors such as strawberry cheese cake coffee(why?!?). I rather eat a slice of cheese cake. HAHA. That's weird to me.
Coffees like vanilla, hazelnut, bourbon pecan, pumpkin spice, and etc are fine.
Books- I'm a Jesus freak and nerd.
The Bible particularly Proverbs, Luke, Romans, and Hebrews.

Psalm 145 was for Profile Bible verse #5
Psalm 145:3-6 Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty--and I will meditate on your wonderful works. They tell of the power of your awesome works -- and I will proclaim your great deeds.
We spent today in the mountains of North Carolina. I was in awe of the beauty of God's creation!
Hugs, Diane

16 When all Israel saw that the king refused to listen to them, they answered the king: “What share do we have in David, what part in Jesse’s son? To your tents, Israel! Look after your own house, David!” So all the Israelites went home.
