About Me

I am very new to swap-bot, so please let me know if I should fill this out more, or differently!

I am a single Christian mother of a 6 year old girl, and a 5 year old boy, and have always been a crafter. I knit, crochet, cross-stitch, scrapbook, and I am just starting to jump headlong into quilting, trying to build a fabric stash. I am also an avid reader, and amateur coin collector.

I have participated in a few crafty swaps before, mostly ATCs and altered paperclips and notebooks. I am so excited to get into the swap-bot world, and GET SWAPPING!

I love tea! I definitely prefer fruity herbal teas the most, but I am more than willing to try anything! I also love coffee and hot cocoa.

I am definitely a choco-holic, and I would love to try chocolate and other candies from other countries especially. I am not a huge fan of nuts, but will eat it anyway lol. I prefer dark chocolate, but definitely like milk chocolate too. I love caramel (especially salted caramel), and salted caramel with dark chocolate is a dream come true. I also love fruity candies. I prefer hard candies to chewy or gummy ones, but again, I'll eat it anyway lol.

Favorite Music

I LOVE country music (mostly modern), but I also listen to pop, hip-hop, and music from movies and musicals.

Favorite Books

I have always loved to read, and I will read just about anything. Most recently, I've been reading a lot of Young Adult fantasy (think Twilight, Harry Potter, Hunger Games). I also like mysteries, crime dramas, and more "adult" books :)

Favorite Movies

My favorite types of movies are definitely romantic comedies, but I also really like chick-flicks, old-timey classics, and musicals. Also, I'm a mom of young'ns so I am a sucker for Disney movies.

Favorite Television

I watch a little bit of everything on TV: Vampire Diaries, NCIS, Big Bang Theory, Doctor Who, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones... etc.

Favorite Crafts

I knit, crochet, cross-stitch, scrapbook, and I am just starting to jump headlong into quilting, trying to build a fabric stash. I have always been drawn to bright colors and more modern, geometric patterns, but I also make things for kids a lot. I am not opposed to country-chic, I just need someone to convince me lol!

So do you tell your friends and relatives that their gifts were basically stolen or do they think you are a wonderful human being? Maybe you just had a merry little Christmas yourself.
