August 15 UPDATE: My daddy died suddenly Friday night and I am heartbroken. I hope to get back to creating and swapping soon.

Hi! I just LOVE creating heartfelt art to share with others to brighten their day. I also love checking my mailbox for happy mail and seeing what beautiful things my swapping friends have created. 🎨 💕
I’m open-minded and accepting. Please don’t worry that I won’t accept your type or style of art, because I will, and I won’t give or threaten a poor rating. If you’re ever in doubt, you can add a note explaining things, but for me this is just because I like hearing from you. 😊
I am always open to private art swaps! Send me a message if you’re interested.
I'm mom to 2 boys, a wife, a gardener and an artist. We have a dog and a cat. I love history and fairy tales. I enjoy genealogy. I love rocks and crystals. I’m into native plants, and herbalism. I love nature. A weekend in the woods is a perfect weekend to me!
🖼 I maintain a "little art gallery" in our front yard. It is always open for sharing and swapping art locally. If you'd like to send something for the gallery, I'd love to select something to send back to you! Follow @littleArtgalleryolivette on facebook for updates. When swapping with me, please indicate in your letter/package if you are okay with me sharing any artwork in the gallery. I don't like to pass along artworks that people make for me without their knowledge.
I hope to have the opportunity to make up my 2 old “1” ratings… I’ve messaged my partners and hope to hear back!
I just love creating things... from sewing to papercrafting to painting to leather and woodwork to embroidery and everything in between. I’ll try any craft at least once. I just LOVE making things!
Most recently, I’ve learned how to bind a leather book, and I’ve been sewing hexagons together (English Paper Piecing) to make small toys and a quilt top. I’m also in the middle of sewing my 1st (non-historically accurate) historical garment... a dirndl dress, along with a blouse and apron. I’ve also been cranking out lots of ATCs lately!
I love sending and receiving happy mail! (Who doesn’t?!)
Some things I’d be thrilled to receive:
anything handmade (even if the swap requires a "bought" card, I always prefer handmade and will not rate down)
colorful, decorated envies and packaging
"fancy" tissue paper samples
gel prints or mono prints
a secret, a hope or a dream (I'll keep it between us!)
interesting items from where you live
tea (especially caffeine-free or herbal)
a letter from you
a story or essay or poem
favorite family recipe
soy-free, dairy-free vegetarian recipe
handmade or interesting paper samples
your best parenting or marriage tip
I am grateful to receive any ATC that you wish to send me! I especially love hand-drawn and -painted ATCs.
If you’d like some ideas specific to me, here are a few themes I’d like to add to my collection:
The Little Prince
camping/cabin life/lake life
tasteful, artistic nudes (not interested in erotica or in nude fantasy like mermaids or fairies)
