I'm Maxine, 24, from England.

I'm a creative who mainly focuses on snail mail and digital art. I have three cats called Treacle Pancake and Waffle who I adore, they're just over 2 years old.

I have been pen palling for a while now after discovering it was an awesome way to channel my love of arts and crafts into something sociable and adorable. I love sending and receiving things in the mail, so I thought I'd give swap bot a go to hopefully send and receive some things from awesome people and hopefully make new snail mail buddies :)

I'm also a practicing witch (that sounds weirder than it is). I basically believe that through putting your intentions and energy out there you can manipulate things to work more in your favour. (no sanding around fires in the woods naked, I promise!) I'd like to point out that I am NOT religious at all and do not work with deities in my craft. I use a lot of herbs, nature (leaves, flowers, seeds etc) candles, and crystals in my craft, I'm always appreciative of receiving any of these things if you're able to send them!

Please don't send me things that have a strong scent (scented candles, etc.) as I am very sensitive to smells, they give me a headache and make me feel sick.

I love creating. I'm an artist/illustrator primarily, and make a lot of digital artwork, some of which I sell as postcards. I love sending creative mail, such as flip books and pocket letters and am currently looking to find one or two more penpals who also enjoy sending creative mail.
