The stuff you posted on your blog is fabulous! I knew it. You are extremely talented! I don't know why you are scared about showing it to people.
I've always disliked drawing realism, mostly because it never turns out right for me. I wish I could since it's so impressive...but I guess that grass is always greener? I think every artist has to have a strong point, and everyone always wishes their strong point was something else, haha.
Lastly, I absolutely love that your blog is called "Beautifully Picaresque." Satire (and picaresque) is my favorite.
