I am a ranchgirl that loves to work in pajamas and rubber boots. When I am not running around the farm, I am in a corner making things, doodling things and imagining things that are bright and fluffy (sometimes till the crack of dawn).
I am married to a wonderful farmer and we have a little boy. I love summerdays and the smell of grass after it's been touched by rain.
I love fabric that have cute little prints on them.
I love old books and old patterns.
I am quite obsessed with thread and yarn. This obsession makes me bring around a huge bag filled with knitting needles, lace-making needles, crochet hooks, tatting needles and bright, bright threads.
I am intigued by patterns, in life and in art.
I love a well-designed product/packaging.
I love skillfully crafted furniture.
I love graphic design. And the internet.
I love my family, my friends and my province.
I love post-offices and libraries.
I love adventures and knowing other places so different from my own.

On Swaps

I rate the day I receive your package and I am usually pretty generous with my hearts :-) I live in a rural area and sometimes my swaps take longer to get to their destination than most :-( when this happens, I am always willing to send a new one if my package goes AWOL. I take great care in making my swap items, as most of them are hand-made, and I would appreciate an acknowledgement (message or rating) when you get it. I DO NOT RATE UNFAIRLY, I will send you a message if your package has not arrived after a fair amount of time (1-2 months).

STARTING ALL OVER AGAIN

Hello. It has been so long since I have been back on swap-bot, mainly due to my packages not arriving. I had resent the items and decided not to swap till I could find a more reliable postal service. I know find out years later thru the ratings that some of the resends never arrived :-( This saddens me.

I have moved and for the past year have tried the postal system and can say that this one is reliable. I will do one more re-send to check before I will try swapping again. :-(

I wished I had not logged out for years so I could have found out sooner :-( I am really saddened.

Comment: I'm sorry to leave this rating but this swap's deadline was March 30 and although you promised to resend when I contacted you mid May, nothing has arrived yet and you haven't logged into swap-bot for the last three weeks neither. I'd gladly change this rating should I receive your parcel.

Comment: Hello, again!! I know we have been swap partners before, although I do not recall which swap. I received your lovely bookmarks, the fantastic map and the so gracious letter from you today. Thank you so very much!!!! I wish I could say that I could visit your country some day, but, since I rarely get more than 50 miles from home..... My hubby is going to take your letter and all with him when he visits his dad next week. His dad spent quite some time in your country during WWII and really loved it. He is a bit of a writer and has done some short stories about the islands and the people. He says, some of the most beautiful people in the world. We know he will get alot of joy from seeing what you sent. Again, thanks!!!
