About Me

I am German, female and married. I am doing technical oriented full time job. To keep the balance in my life I love to travel, to cook, to read, to write letters and to do rubber stamping during my leasure time.

Favorite Books

Mainly I am reading crime stories. And my favorites are northern european authors like Indridason, Lehtolainen, Sjöwall / Wahlhöö and of course Mankell. Additionally I like Fantasy. I am addicted to The Lord of the Rings since the early 80s. And I couldn't resist Harry Potter - although I tried for quite a long time. Altogether I enjoy nearly everything what is not too hard to read...

Favorite Crafts

I love rubber stamping Mainly I am doing stamped cards and ATCs.But also other formats like Inchies, Twinchies, ATCoins or Zines are great. I am not sharing my favorite colors or so. For me it is important to see how other people are expressing themselves. And maybe my favorites wouldn't suit them. So not my preferences are necessary but the preferences of the person who is doing the card or ATC...or whatever piece of art!

Travelling

I love travelling. During the last years I learnt that the perfect way of travelling for me is going around in a mobile home. You don't have to have too many plans. You just go and you can stay where ever you like to stay. This is great. And my preferred country to do so is Sweden. Apart from this I love South-East Asia. (But I don't travel there with a mobile home). Especially Indonesia.

Likes...

I like to receive everything flat enough to be used on cards and ATCs. Interesting pieces of paper, foreign stamps...whatever comes to your mind. Currently I am a bit into fishes, cats and mushrooms.

The ATC is great and I also like the ATC info stamp for the back ("a little stop on my art journey"). I appreciate all the extras and the care & effort you put into the swap. Clever to use real postage stamps for faux postage! I wish I could give more than one heart. This is one of my favorite swaps I've received. Thank you!

Comment: Thanks for the amazing Mail Art I received from you today. The envelope is already a brilliant idea and would have counted as green Mail Art by itself - you even found a green postage stamp, but then the ATCs are just wonderful. Thanks so much for adding another ATC after you read my preferences. The matchbox labels are awesome - I don't know if I will be able to use them, they are pieces of art just as they are!
