My name is Caryn (pronounced like "Karen"). I'm in my early 30s, happily married to my high school sweetheart, and I live in Austin, TX. I don't have any kids, but I have 14 nieces & nephews.

I work in computer security and tend to be very left-brained. I make lists and keep several journals.

I'm really into country music... older stuff as well as contemporary country. However, I love all kinds of music. My playlist is over 800 songs, everything from Janis Joplin to Linkin Park to Norah Jones to Willie Nelson. Pop, rock, R&B... it's all good. :)

I love the Tudors (both history books and fiction). I also like James Patterson, Judith McNaught, Nicholas Sparks... I'm trying to get through some classics and "Top 100" books, as well (ie. Age of Innocence, Love in the Time of Cholera, etc).

I have watched the entire AFI Top 100 list. I like a wide variety of stuff. I love Jimmy Stewart and Gene Kelly. I find myself enjoying movies from the late '30s/early '40s. As far as current movies, I am a sucker for a good "chick flick." I'm not a big fan of "stupid humor," though.
