I'm a 40yo wahm (Avon) and part-time student studying for my Cert. II in Horticulture at my local TAFE college. I have a 16 yo son, who, on the whole is a good kid, but he has his moments... don't we all... LOL I used to be heavily involved with swapping... fb's, decos, lyrix and the like, as well as pen-palling, but over the past couple of years, have drifted away from both of these great pastimes, and I'd love to get back into the swapping side to start with, so I guess that's why I'm here. I suppose that I'm failry easy to get along with, happy-go-lucky, and I just love to have a chin-wag (chat). I'm also an animal lover, my partner has a little Australian Terrier named Max, a black cat named Ginny, and her three kittens from her last litter, and I have a black tom cat named Fwederick (who is this moment sleeping next to me, and snoring softly, LOL)

Well, I guess that my fave music comes mainly from the 70's and 80's, with some 60's and more modern stuff thrown in... I must admit that my son's tastes in music are rubbing off on me (cringe), as I don't have much choic in listening to his stuff if I'm at home, cosidering I live in a caravan. OK, I like Sherbet (an Aussie group from the 70's), Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet (new romantics era), I'm a HUGE Quee fan, hence my email addy, and heaps more...

Books.... Now let's see... Harry Potter, most definitely! I can't wait to see "The Order Of The Phoenix", and read "Deathly Hallows"!! I've just read a book called "The Phoenix", which was written about the Hindenbeg by the son of one of the survivors... a very interesting read! I went out and bought a copy of "Memoirs of a Geisha" after seeing the movie I loved it that much! I also ejoy fantasy novels. So as you can see, I have diverse tastes inbooks.

Crafts? UM... I guess the craftiest thing that I did was decos...

Leading on from Horticulture... I grow African Violets from leaf cutting and used to sell the resulting plants at the local market.

That I suppose is me in a nutshell and believe me, most of my friends will tell you I belong in one LOL
