I am a loving mommy and wife, my time is mainly spent caring for my famiy. I enjoy reading,writing ,having tea and coffee breaks and baking anything I can think of! I make atc's,and have for over a year now. I also LOVE sewing quilts, hand-stitched as well as machine quilted.baby quilts, large quilts, baby lovies. I collect tea pots and cups,fairies and love cupcakes,polka dots and backyard birds.ofcourse I grow violets,my namesake,and even start them from leaves and watch them blossom into beautiful thriving plants.

I enjoy making atc's,sewing. I really like birds on cards, as well as fairy children

I listen to bbc radio a lot, mainly the womans hour, and through the night. classical, radiohead,coldplay,cranberries, swing and jazz

I love to read...jan karon, jennifer chiaverini,sandra dallas, l.m.montgomery, jhumpa lahiri, short stories, poetry. inspirational books as well as art books to learn new techniques and gain inspiration. quilting arts magazine, cloth paper scissors as well as sommerset studios mags. * lately i'm into short stories compilations, as well as irish female authors.*

some of my likes are: all pastel colours, esp. pinks and greens,vintage fabrics, floral fabrics...the girlier the better!! all chocolate, tea, especially chai,green,chammomile but I really enjoy trying new teas (loose also) collecting tea pots (would love tea accessories) collecting tea cups pastel colors polka dots paisley cupcakes zines made by you atc's made by you ANYTHING made by you :)
