Description:

This is number twelve in our series of page swaps with a nature-theme, and will probably be our last. The theme for this swap is
RECEIVER'S CHOICE. This will be a great way to fill in any gaps in your collection.

When you sign up for this swap, please list, in the comment section below, three or four nature-themed topics that you would like to receive. Your partners will then make a page for one of your topics. Your topics can be fairly specific, but try not to make them so obscure that your partner will have difficulty finding images to work with.

For this swap you will have two different partners.

Please keep in mind that for this series I'm thinking more traditional, relatively realistic, or vintage botanical/animal images, rather than "cutesy" or scrapbooky interpretations (although some scrapbook embellishments may be tastefully incorporated).

Designing a page in this style is pretty basic. Layer your main image over "found" paper such as a sheet of music, a dictionary page, ledgers, the cover of a farmer's almanac, or vintage-looking scrapbook papers etc. Embellish your page with relatively realistic or vintage images, stamping, numbers/symbols, postage stamps or cancellation marks, text/found poetry etc. And don't forget to include a 3-D component to make your page "chunky." Finally, you should lightly decorate the back side of your page, and include your contact information.

Make 1 4X4" chunky page each for 2 partners. Leave the left 1/4" free of chunky embellishments for binding.
