Description:

Hey so #1 was a wonderful swap so here we go for #2!

Note: You will have one full month to send off your swap! :-)

For this swap you will create a cookbook for your partner! You can use large index cards, cardboard, or any other sturdy paper. The cover should be sturdy but you can use regular printing paper for the inner papers. The book should be strung-together, hole-punched and tied, stapled and covered with deco tape or have some other type of binding. You may print the recipes, hand-write, cut from magazine, etc. It should have photos of atleast some of foods even if you draw it yourself, use stickers, or etc! The book should contain atleast 25 recipes but feel free to add more if you desire to do so! Please post your desired type of recipes below and categories so that your partner can have a better idea of what type of recipes to send to you! If you have any allergies, dislikes or religious dietary requirements also please list that below. The cookbook should look pretty and be something you are proud to give to someone! If you have questions or suggestions feel free to ask me!

Here are some examples of handmade cookbooks:

Hope this helps and that we all have fun! :-)

*Due to the nature of this swap I am only accepting members with 5 ratings and at-least a 4.8 rating. Sorry but this will be something time invested and I would hate for somebody to be hurt by a flake!

I can't have gluten, msg or nitrates would it be too much of a pain for my partner for me to join this swap?

LavenderSprinkles 09/16/2011 #

nope @pinkcamo1980 I would like to c i have dietary issues too.

LavenderSprinkles 09/16/2011 #

no pork, no potatoes or coconut (allergic) , no meat, i am ovo-lacto vegetarian. i do eat eggs and milk. i like rice dishes, and soups. i love sweets too!

I dont have dietary needs( except from needing alot of sweets ;)). But i since i might not live in your country please dont include very local ingredients. In an email recipe swap i once got a recipe including premade turkey stuffing. We dont got it here since we eat ham around christmas. That might be a good thought for evereyone. :).

Oh, and we crazy swedes use the metric measuring system for evereything including cooking. But if you dont, Dont worry about translating weights into grammes just leave a tiny bit of space at the inhredients list, so i can put a tiny note there.

Hello @Elin sounds fine. Thank you!

Desserts(specially made out of chocolate), soups, stir fried dishes, salads and snacks are my favorites. recipes on Chicken, beef, pork and lamb are welcome. no sea food except prawns. :)

Im a real dessert person (cakes, cookies, cupcakes, chocolatey stuff...you get the idea), kids friendly meals as we have a three year old, easy dishes, not very fond of seafood. Oh and for me theres the same as for Elin, we have the metric system so dont worry about converting just leave a bit of space next to the ingredients list :)

I would prefer recipes that DON'T include premade items, like canned soups etc. Desserts would be fabulous! Also, soups and vegetarian dishes...curries too. (I do eat meat, just not on an everyday basis). Thanks :o)
