Is anyone else a sucker for playing cards? I love them -- I have them in different shapes, different sizes and different designs. Many designs and sizes are widely available at dollar discount stores now. Let's do a swap of playing cards we can use in craft projects. There are 52 cards to a deck - let's do a swap of playing cards - three partners - send ten or more playing cards to each partner; try to make them different numbers and suits and a mix of face cards and numbered cards. Swap sign up closes on October 20 with cards due to partners on November 15. This gives us a chance to be on the lookout for some unique cards. Happy Trading!

Dollar Tree in AZ has GIGANTIC playing cards, at least a couple of weeks ago they did. So my partners will get at least 1 or 2 in their batch! susi

I've just packed together the cards for my partner today. Though I am not sure if I did it the right way: Do the ten cards have to be from ten different decks? Because I took them from three decks ... Three lovely decks. Hope this was ok so.

I also recieved my pack of cards... thank you to the person who sent them so quickly! I sent mine out yesterday, they are not the most unique cards in the world, but they were all that I had. susi

My 2nd and 3rd set of cards arrived from Connie in AZ & Alanna in SF, CA. Connie-loved the cardinal cards the best! And Alanna-thanks for all the cards (including your lovely business card!).

I forgot to say thanks to Monica for the cards! At least that is who I think sent them to me! What a nice selection you sent! They are too pretty to use as atc bases, i may have to just turn the designs into ATCs! susi
