Blessings Dotee Swap!

I am really loving making dotees-and I know many of you are,too! I just finished a "white" dotee in another group and it made me think of angels and blessings.Wouldn't it be sweet if we all made a "blessings" dotee for our partners for the new year?!

Our dotees do not necessarily have to be white,but should convey love and blessings in some way.Maybe wings or charms or even words on the dolls themselves.

These little things are so much fun to make and super easy for most sewists.You do not have to own a sewing machine (or know how to use the one you have!) to make them.They can be made with fabric scraps,felt,even scraps of old sweaters or socks!

I wish I had a picture of one to put up here! I should take pics of the ones I have and the white one before I send it out,actually.

I hope that lots of you will join-even if you have never made a dotee before! Your partner will appreciate the love that went into it-not the expertise (or lack there of )!

I have extended the deadlines for this swap and added a picture of a small doll I made from a dotee pattern.She is larger and fancier than a dotee would generally be-but gives any newbies to dotees a general idea!
