My present work schedule keeps me at work and without internet access for days at a time. I promise to rate and respond as soon as I am able!

I am a Christian fabric and fibre artist specializing in recycled/reclaimed materials.

My "dayjob" is in a local group home.I absolutely LOVE it there! I love helping people! I also volunteer at a local nursing home as well as for my church's food pantry and am in school to be an activities coordinator and professional organizor.

I collect anything Noah's Ark themed.I also absolutely adore sock monkeys! If you send me anything with a Noah's Ark or Sockmonkey theme to it I promise to love you forever!! :D

Our mail service is pretty terrible in the country.During the winter our mail lady will often refuse to deliver our mail for weeks at a time! I promise to rate as soon as I am able to actually get my mail!

I am a 1st generation American;my parents are Jamaican.I was born in Louisiana but now live in the woods in Maine with my husband of 25+ years and 3 cats.We also have numerous wild animals we tend including many new baby raccoons and their mums!

I always send my swaps and rate as soon as I get them.Please PM me if a swap is late getting to you and I will resend right away if it can't be tracked.I strive for 5s and hearts.If you feel something I sent is not worthy of either,let me know and I will do my best to improve my swap!

I am more than a little disappointed and discouraged with some of the nastiness and unpleasantness I have experienced on here of late,though. This is supposed to be a fun place to be! Makes me want to stop swapping. :(

My favourite colour is purple.

I love jewel tones,deep,rich colours and anything neon! My favourite materials are fabric,yarn and anything to do with sewing,crocheting, knitting or mixed media works. I will happily accept broken bead bits,buttons and paper scraps!I am fine with anything with religious imagery.:) I love nature,the earth,animals,trees,God! I love coffee and teas of all sorts (except as noted below). My favourite flavours are chocolate,coffee and banana!

I don't have children or dogs.So I really can't use anything related to either.

snowmen,clowns and the snuggle bunny all seriously creep me out! Augh!!

cartoonish/cutesy things

pastels-especially colours like mint green or pale yellow.

bugs-I do like dragonflies and butterflies,though!

I cannot use anything from a smoking environment.Also nothing with profanity or the like.

I am allergic to Earl Grey/Lady Grey teas and dislike immensely apple and orange flavoured things (like tea or cider).

I have Celiac (no wheat or gluten).

scrapbooking-I just don't enjoy it,really!

beading/making jewelry-I love handmade jewelry;but all those tiny beads and parts do not marry well with my hands and my trifocals!

quilting-I love handmade quilts;but making them myself drives me crazy!!

I can use coupons for pretty much anything except:

dog food,etc. (no dogs!)

baby/children's items (no babies or children!)

hair colour (don't use)

pasta (unless it is gluten free!)

I love to read! I am really into mysteries-"crafting" ones such as by Laura Childs or Susan Witting Albert and historical ones such as by Elizabeth Peters or Margaret Frazer. I will not read anything with profanity or graphic sex or violence in it! I love anything by Joyce Meyers,Beth Moore or Stormy Omartian!
