Description:

This is a way to switch up your rubber stamp collection without having to go out and buy some new ones. You will send your partner one rubber stamp.

Rubber stamps come in all different shapes and sizes so please try to swap a stamp you know you would like to get. Another tip is to read your partners profile and see what they might like... They might be on the prowl for something you have. *Hand-made stamps are okay, but only if they are exceptionally made and wood mounted. Please do not swap unmounted stamps unless it happens to be in your partners profile.

Try not to send holiday stamps (unless you see they are requesting a holiday) or stamps people may not be able to use right away like "Happy Easter".

If you have a fun way you like to use your stamp, send your partner an example. Like if the stamp is really nice with the use of embossing powder send a little card using the stamp in that manner with some instruction.

I dont mound any of my stamps but I make them so they can still be used without having to use wood or anything like that, I dont have the money or the materials to mount them. is that ok?

I would like to join this swap because I like the idea of it but I a minimum size requirement would be helpful.

MizzKodak: I feared this when I allowed hand-made stamps in the last swap. This swap is more for store-bought type stamps. If you would like to send a hand-made stamp w/ out the mounting you will need to ask your partner if it is okay when they are assigned.

tarabranham: I don't want to set a size limit because I know for me personally I prefer a smaller stamp (like 1" x 1" or even smaller)... You should really base the stamp on the quality of the image and how beneficial it would be to use the stamp.

I propose for folks to read their partners profile. If you have a concern about the size of the stamp I would suggest putting it in your profile and just like with any swap - hope and pray you get something you like. Also, let people know what kind of things you use stamps for.

Assign partners?

silkhope86 12/18/2011 #

I am so sorry, I've done that twice now.

I'm going to extend the send-out date because I messed up the assignment date! Again sorry folks!
