What exactly is a Charity Shop? clueless

Charity shops are places to buy second hand items, people donate things there that they don't want anymore and if someone wants to buy something they are reasonably cheap - and the money goes to whatever charity it is for example we have Oxfam - (famine relief), British Heart Foundation, Cancer research, Barnado's, Sue Ryder, RSPCA and animal charities, Save the children etc!

i'd love to do something like this - but i have not found any charity shops here in Greece!!!

Oh - I'm soooo jealous. I would love to do this one. I adore rummaging through charity shops. Unfortunately there is nothing like it here in Turkey, and I won't be back in Britain until the end of March! Have fun - it's a great idea.
