This is a ATC swap for those that are new to it, or even those that are experienced. The only thing is if you have high standards or are picky about your ATCs, than don't join! As I said this is for swappers who are new to ATCs, I do not want to discourage anyone! With that being said here are the rules:

Anyone who is well versed in ATCs please comment below with tips. thanks:)

ATC video

This is for 1 ATC

You will have 1 partner

All types of art are accepted, all techniques (paintings, drawings, collages, photographs, rubberstamp works, mixed media, found images, assemblages, etc.). only rule is the size: 64 x 89 mm or 2 ½ x 3 ½ inches.

Write your real name and user name and date along with the name of the ATC on back.

Let's make them nice, not just thrown together. I would hate for them to fall apart! Also one sticker stuck on some cardstock is not welcomed!

No recent 1s

Excessive amounts of 3s, talk to me about it.

Fully filled out profile ( as some people like to check your profile and try to get something that you would like.)

Please, when you get your swap, rate your partner, You cannot rate down if you do not like it. (Hence the filled out profile)

If you are late even one day on a swap as I check profiles, maybe you forgot to hit sent, even if your rateing is good. sorry but I will still have to ban you from the swap, just protecting my swappers.

Remember, International takes longer, so give it time.Give at least 6 weeks.

If you do not receive, please communicate with your partner and your host. If you can not communicate with your partner and host at all and just go ahead and give them a 1 without trying, You will not be in anymore of my swaps, without giving your partner a chance to resend. Mail gets lost or takes longer if its International. Give a person a chance to respond, If not, There is no need to be swapping as you are bringing down ratings on a person that may not be a flaker because you decided not to communicate.Think about it,you wouldn't want this to happen to you.

Will check everyone for recent 1s or if behind on other swaps, before I assign partners.

I hope everyone has a good time with this and no one gets flaked on. ~Happy Swapping~ Cole

I love atcs, however, I would have no idea where to start with tips... wait, I guess: if you are new, and you are looking for a place to store, the trading card section baseball cards, magic, yu gi oh, etc) at your local store, has 9 pocket sleeves great for putting into a binder. if you receive one in a plain plastic envelope thing, it may very well be a trading card sleeve. you can find those there too... then there are fun backgrounds. one of my favorites is to get 2 large pieces of cardstock, and some cheap craft paint bottles. get both metallic and plain, for contrast (gold with blue and green, etc). drop bits all over one cardstock. sandwich, brayer the back, and pull apart. when it dries, cut to atc size. these make really pretty backgrounds, for putting images over, stamping on, or even using a piant pen to accent something you see that others might have missed (rorshach style). not something you have to do, of course, but really really fun and pretty...

I also make backgrounds, somedays when I really want to create but to tired I make backgrounds and cut them ATC size and save them for when I want to finish them. I use old maps, book pages, comic books, wallpaper samples, calender pages, old ledgers from thrift stores.

I just found out lowes does not charge for cutting glass or plexiglass to your size requirements. I got really lucky, because they has some leftover plexiglass pieces and cut them to atc size for me. so far, I have found staz on and alcohol inks to work, but I need to figure out a) how to sign it, and b) where to get stickers or images that have the image front and back. i'm also thinking glass paints, and crackle around the edges, so the edges aren't rough or sharp. just a fun thought to try...
