This swap is designed to help those who aren't quite sure what to send for a Smash Book/Junk Journal swap to get started. Even though I am targeting new smashers, all are welcome.

For this swap we will send our partner at least five (5) items that can be used in a smash book or junk journal. If you choose to send stickers, you must send at least 10, and they will only count as one item, no matter how many you send.

Please read your partners profile to see if you can send items with a theme they will like.

Here is a list of items that you can send for this project:

Small envelopes
Small note pad pages
Colorful, mostly flat decorative items
New or vintage blank forms of any kind
Images (stickers, pictures cut from magazines, etc.)
Recipe Cards
Any attractive items that can be written on or used to decorate
Postage stamps

If you are uncertain how a Smash Book or Junk Journal looks, really anything goes. Below are links to several pages that show Smash Book pages:

Let's start Smashing/Junking!!!!!

Now for the less fun stuff: You'll need to have a rating of 4.90 or better and a well filled-out profile so that your partners will have an idea of what you'd like. Newbies are welcome with a completed profile. No recent or unexplained 1s or 3s. No flakers. I will consider those with a lower rating with personal communication before sign-up.

Please PM me if you have any questions. This will be a fun way to encourage our smashing/junking addictions. Smash and Junk away!!

I will angel for those who don't receive a swap.

I'm in panic mode here. I just received this swap, but not from the person I sent stuff to. I was under the assumption that the person I send and receive would be the same. Did I sent to the wrong person or this is really how it works?

@Druidha - I've been in SB for ages now and it is very rare to receive from the same person you send to, especially when there is only one partner and there are so many swappers as this one has.

So, yes - this is how it really works! :)

What a relief. I had no idea was like that and I thought I had sent to the wrong person. Thanks
