Description:

For this series swap, create a card for your partner using a book page (as the background, an an embellishment, etc.). Your work must use an actual book page. Please sign the back of the card and include a short note about creating it.

Cards should be standard size (with a front no smaller than 3.5" x 5") Cards will be folded in half and include a blank, unused envelope. Card designs are sender's choice, so you can start creating yours now!

TO MAIL: Place the card and the blank envelope inside of an outer envelope when mailing to your partner. The USPS regulations state that a letter can be up to 6 1/8" x 11 1/2" and no more than 16 oz, so one stamp should be able to mail any of these.

A rating of 4.8 or above is required with no recent 1's or unexplained 3's. I will ban questionable swappers at my own discretion. If you have questions about this, please contact me.

Have fun! I'll be posting another themed card swap every two weeks. ^v^

i hate to ask but why are we folding the card and sendind a blank envelope. i love doing the book page cards. i don't think they fold well being collages? i really like the book page card part.

@hannibal (also messaged)

In this swap, I intend for participants to create a greeting-style card, so the inside will be blank to write or stamp a greeting onto and use as such.

The front of the card should be decorated with the book page, embellishments, etc. The back can have artist's info, etc. It is folded in half and sent with a blank envelope so that it can be written in and sent on in the future (if your partner wishes).
