Hearty History

History nerd? Someone who just really likes a certain part of history? Great! In this swap you'll simply write your partner about a part of history or a historical figure which you really like or are interested in. Write to them about the awesome things that person did, or the disgusting things that happened in that period, or the urban myths about that period or person. This can be the history of any country, at any time, so don't hold back. If you can't think of your favourite part of history, here are some ideas:

• The Slave trading period
• Black Civil Rights movement in America
• The Cold war
• World wars 1 & 2
• Bismarck Germany
• Occupied France
• 20th century Britain
• Irish history
• The Russian revolution
• Unification of Italy
• The GDR
• And the list goes on!

Have fun with this, it doesn't matter whether you sound super smart or whether you know absolutely everything about your chosen area - you might just know a couple of facts and find them really interesting. The point of this is to explain why you find it so interesting. We're hoping to spread some historical interest!

You'll need a 4.5 or higher to join, and no recent unexplained 1s or 3s. It goes without saying that flakers shouldn't join, but I'll be willing to angel if it's absolutely necessary.
